GHUGHUBESIA HIGH SCHOOL was established on 1st May, 2008 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is recognised permanently by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Vide Memo No- How-281/23/G dt 16/05/2023 with Board’s Circular No- S/232 dated 13/01/2010.It is located in Rural area of SHYAMPUR-II block of HAORA district of West Benga at Village – Baraghughubesia,P.O-Amardaha,P.S-Shyampur,PIN-711312.In 2008,Primarily, the school consisted of Grades from 5 to 8 (Junior High or Upper Primary),now, in 2025, the noted school has been upgraded from Ghughubesia New Set Up Upper Primary School to GHUGHUBESIA HIGH SCHOOL.The school was Government Aided, Co-educational ,now Government Sponsored and Co-Educational. The school is well decorated in nature and Day Session.. Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school and English also. The third language HINDI has been compulsorily introduced from class V to VIII. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in January and ends in December every year. The school has own Government building with adequate classrooms including three smart class rooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has one room for non-teaching activities and one room for Girls’Common Rooom . The school has a separate room for Head master and Teaching staff . The school has No Boundary Wall . The school has electric connection and also Generator and Inverter System. The school premises is under CCTV surveillance and Fire safety set up has been arranged. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Aqua guard Purifier through submersible pump and it is functional with running water is available. School has 2 boys urinal and 1 Latrine functional and 1 girls urinal and 1 Latrine functional. The school has a playground. The school has a library with 550 books , Digital Library is under process and Magazine, periodical, English and Bengali Newspaper are also available. The school has ramp for disabled children to access classrooms. School has sufficient computers and Projector for teaching and learning purposes with high speed broadband Net.The school has a computer aided teaching learning system through Web cam. In School Premises, the school provides prepared safe mid-day meal among students with hand washing system of liquid soap. Bharat Scouts and Guides has been introduced in school and Brotachary Training also. Music and Tabla teachers are engaged to teach the students free of cost.

2025 is the milestone of upgradation from Junior High to GHUGHUBESIA HIGH SCHOOL. At present GHUGHUBESIA HIGH SCHOOL is officially registered under National Science Olympiad. Spoken English under BRITISH COUNCIL, ABACUS are going to be introduced very soon.
